Please join us at our annual meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 27, to hear first hand how the coalition’s programs make a difference to homeless families and people unable to pay for needed health care. Plan to attend the meeting from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, 2600 Lakeway Dr., in Bellingham. A time for fellowship and refreshments follows the meeting.
A mom of two children who escaped domestic violence to find safety and shelter at one of our houses will share with us the impact our housing program has had on her family’s life.
Also, we’ll have the pleasure of hearing from Des Skubi, the executive director of Interfaith Community Health Center. Des leads from both heart and head, and with compassion for all people in need. He will share with us some of the important work happening each day at the health center.
We look forward to sharing these stories with you and giving you a brief update on other work our coalition of 45 congregations is doing.
Each year we hear that attendees particularly enjoy the opportunity to connect with friends from other Interfaith member congregations. We hope you’ll plan to attend the meeting and bring others with you for an uplifting evening.
