We welcome new congregational partners! Working together as people of many faiths, we change lives. Congregations of all sizes and beliefs find that partnering with Interfaith Coalition is a powerful way to help our neighbors in need. Not replacing individual congregation programs, but joining together as one to do more, Interfaith Coalition is a path for your members to contribute in the greater community.
If your congregation would like to be part of a positive and effective group committed to improving the lives of others, and values meeting and working with people of diverse faiths, please consider joining us. Congregations sign a membership covenant affirming their decision and affirming our mission:
Interfaith Coalition is a community of many faiths working together
to eliminate homelessness and poverty in Whatcom County
Interfaith Coalition member congregations collaborate to fill gaps in human services
and to meet housing and other needs of marginalized people.
All people deserve to live in a safe home.
All people have dignity and need to be treated with respect.
Services are offered without regard to religious affiliation.
We respect each person’s religious choices and value the power of diverse faiths working together.
We are hands-on in our work together, and are primarily funded by our generous community.
