  • Project Warm-Up items – knitted hats, scarves, and gloves

  • New and in original packaging cleaning supplies, including: dish soap, floor cleaner, glass cleaner, surface cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner, shower cleaner (Bon Ami preferred), paper towels, dish sponges & scrubbers, pump hand soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener

  • New or gently used vacuum cleaners with all attachments included and clean filter

  • New pillows

Items we cannot accept:

Some items we do not have a need for – or only on rare occasions
– but cannot store:

  • Furniture/beds/mattresses

  • Stuffed animals & children’s toys

  • Opened packages or used hygiene items

  • Mouthwash, hand sanitizer, nail polish remover

  • Clothing

  • Cat litter

  • Medicines of any kind & cold packs with white beads

  • Broken items or with missing pieces/attachments

  • Unclean, expired, or recalled items

  • Used car seats, booster seats, or baby bath tubs

Items needed only at certain times of the year:

In the fall we hold our annual Winter Coat Drive and collect adult and kids new and gently-used winter coats. We cannot accept coats at any other time. See below for information on active drives and community donation campaigns!

For some items we are unable to accept, you can still support us! Donate these items to Habitat for Humanity in Whatcom County (check their list to see what they accept). Simply tell them you want the sale of your donated items to benefit Interfaith Coalition. When those items sell, we will be issued store credit we can use for our housing program or to help a family who is transitioning out of homelessness into a home.

Current Drives & Community
Donation Campaigns

  • Deodorant, toothpaste, tampons, and soap are hard to come by on the street.

CAST (Coffee and Sandwiches Together) is in need of many essential hygiene items that are passed out during food distribution. Fiscally sponsored by the Interfaith Coalition of Whatcom County, CAST currently facilitates distribution four days per week, but aims to increase support to five days in the future.

Individuals can purchase items from our Wishlist, or faith communities can organize a hygiene collection drive to provide the supplies needed by our neighbors. Donations can be shipped or delivered to the Interfaith office at 495 E Bakerview Rd, Bellingham, 98226

Please call (360) 734-3983 to coordinate drop-off/pickup or if you have questions.

  • We are accepting coats now through October 7th!
